HEATHER TINDALL ROBILLARD, AGENT

My story begins in 1783. That’s when my family first arrived to this area. When I stop and think about it, it’s quite a story.

I live one block from where my 9th great-grandfather lived. My family still owns a farm here in the area. Everyone in my family owns some type of local service business.

My father worked in construction. Growing up, I remember all the weekends and late nights missing him, when his job would keep him from being with his family.

The desire to serve others is in my DNA. It’s a desire that is deeply ingrained in our family roots. While my job is about helping people buy and sell homes, my mission is to provide unparalleled service to everyone I touch in the process: picking up mail for a client who is out of town or taking the dogs on a walk when a listing is being shown and the owners can’t be home.

I’ve created a mentoring program where I teach young agents in the community how to be great service providers. These agents are not on a team with me, they’re just people who share similar ideals and work ethics.

For me, a career in real estate is the promise of freedom from a typical 9-to-5 grind. It’s about building a career that allows me to have date nights with my husband or spend time with my dad on my family’s boat. It’s about sharing knowledge with new agents — giving them the skills they need to create a career that gives them freedom.
